From a player-availability standpoint, Georgia Tech will be stronger for Saturday’s game against Georgia Southern than it had been for the first two games. Safety Isaiah Johnson, who missed the Tulane game with a hamstring injury, practiced Monday, as did center Freddie Burden (upper-body injury) and cornerback D.J. White (unspecified), who were both taken out of the Tulane game.

Further, three players suspended for the first two games for A-back Dennis Andrews, cornerback Lynn Griffin and wide receiver Darren Waller will return. Waller was suspended for violating team rules, Andrews and Griffin for violating the Tech student-athlete code of conduct.
