WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Georgia Tech's frustration through the early part of the ACC schedule continued Saturday, this time with a 76-69 loss to Wake Forest.

Tech trailed the final 31 minutes of the game, in single digits until the final minute of the game at Joel Coliseum. As was the case with the first two losses in ACC play, the Yellow Jackets gave themselves a chance, but their on-and-off play prevented them from overtaking the Demon Deacons at any point.

Tech, typically strong defending the 3-pointer, allowed Wake Forest to make seven of 19. Statistically one of the best rebounding teams in the country, Jackets were also outrebounded for the first time this season, 41-29.

A late 7-0 run brought the Jackets to within three points at 63-60 with 4:52, but gave up a 9-2 surge over the next 3:18 to lose their grip on the game. Tech falls to 9-6 overall and 0-3 in the ACC. Wake Forest is 9-8 and 1-3.
