Georgia Tech women’s basketball coach MaChelle Joseph signed a two-year extension on her contract, a deal that will now run through the 2019-20 season.

Joseph is beginning her 12th season at Tech. She has the highest winning percentage of any coach in team history (.614) and can become the team’s all-time winningest coach with 11 more wins. Perhaps most notably, Joseph has led Tech to seven NCAA tournament appearances, which is five more than the Jackets had achieved prior to her hire.

“I am very appreciative of all of the opportunities I have had the chance to be a part of here at Georgia Tech the past 12 years,” Joseph said in a statement. “I started my career in the ACC at Georgia Tech and I hope to finish my career here.”
