Ole Miss will play TCU in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on Dec. 31 in the Georgia Dome. Kick off will be 12:30 p.m.

The Horned Frogs (11-1), co-champs of the Big 12, were one of the six teams that hoped to be selected as one of the four to make the playoffs. However, they and conference co-champ Baylor were edged by Ohio State.

“We will take whoever it is that we play,” TCU coach Gary Patterson told ESPN before the bowl selections were announced. “No such thing as a bad bowl game.”

The Rebels (9-3) were one of the darlings of college football early in the year after defeating Alabama 23-17 before stumbling in the season’s second half with losses to LSU, Auburn and Arkansas. They defeated Boise State 35-13 earlier this year in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at the Georgia Dome.
