Georgia Tech quarterback TaQuon Marshall and left guard Parker Braun were named the ACC’s quarterback and offensive lineman of the week, respectively, for their performance in the Yellow Jackets’ 66-31 win over Louisville on Friday. The conference made the announcement Monday.

Against Louisville, Marshall led Tech to six touchdowns and one field goal in his seven possessions. He ran for a season-high 175 yards with two touchdowns and led an offense that ran for 542 yards, the most that Tech has gained in an ACC game.

Braun’s blocking helped Tech gain 8.3 yards per rush and reach third down only seven times in 10 possessions. Braun was credited with blocking 15 defenders to the ground in three quarters of play.

It’s the second ACC honor for Marshall and the third for Braun. They are the first Tech players to be recognized by the conference this season as a player of the week.
