Zane Evans tied a school record with six hits, including a double and two home runs, as Georgia Tech beat Clemson 14-9 on Saturday in Clemson, S.C.
Evans, who finished with four RBIs and scored four runs, went 6-for-6 as the Yellow Jackets (28-16, 12-12 ACC) snapped a six-game losing streak. Daniel Palka went 3-for-6 with a home run, two doubles, three runs and four RBIs against the Tigers (30-14, 15-9).
Tech scored a season-high 10 runs in the fifth inning. Jonathan Roberts earned his first career save with three no-hit innings.

Georgia Tech: Anders Albertson took a two-stroke lead at the ACC Championships in New London, N.C., as one of three Yellow Jackets to shoot a 5-under 67 in the second round. Ollie Schniederjans, tied for third, and Shun Yat Hak also shot 67s. The Jackets cut eight strokes off their deficit and are in third place, five strokes behind Florida State and one behind Duke.

Arkansas 2, Georgia 1: Freshman Sean McLaughlin threw seven scoreless innings against Arkansas, but the Razorbacks (29-15, 13-7 SEC) rallied with two runs in the eighth to beat the Bulldogs (16-28, 4-16) in Athens. Georgia left 10 men on base and outhit the Razorbacks 8-5.
Softball
Georgia State: The Panthers (36-16, 13-5 CAA) swept their final home games of the season, beating Delaware 8-0 and 6-4 to push their winning streak to 10 games. Jessica Clifton went 8-for-11 with six RBIs and two runs in the three games against the Blue Hens (32-18, 9-9), including a three-run home run in Game 1.
Florida 5, Georgia 2: The Bulldogs (35-17, 12-8 SEC) led 2-0 after two innings, but the Gators (46-6, 15-5) scored four runs in the fourth, with help from a three-run home run, to win in Gainesville, Fla., and even the series at 1-1.
Georgia Tech: The Yellow Jackets (22-29, 7-10 ACC) lost a doubleheader to Florida State (39-15, 18-2) in Atlanta, falling 4-1 in eight innings and 8-0 in six.
Track and field
Georgia: Carly Hamilton won the women's 1,500 meters at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, and Pierce Vincent, Daniel Grass, Drew Branch and Charles Grethen won the sprint medley relay. Quintunya Chapman, Rashan Brown, Shaunae Miller and Megan Malasarte placed second in the women's sprint medley relay. Brown, Miller, Chapman and Briana Vaughn were third in the women's 4x100 relay.
Georgia Tech: Cole Jackob, Zack Fanelty, Jeremy Greenwald and Brandon Lasater placed third in the men's 4x800 relay at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia.
Kennesaw State: Reagan Beal, Sadio Diallo, Rasmus Rooks and Bilal Abdullah won the 4x100 relay at the Samford Invitational in Samford, Ala.
Georgia State: Tatiana Colbert, Talia Colbert, Gabrielle Brooks and Wande Brewer placed third in the 4x100 relay at the Samford Invitational in Samford, Ala.
