Social media buzz mixed on Tech playing at Mercedes-Benz

It’s good for recruiting. It’s good for branding GT and locking down the 404. It’s good financially. I’m so happy that we have sensible and smart people making the decisions and thinking outside the box. #TOGETHERweSWARM the Benz. pic.twitter.com/H8waTzeKoW

Brings more revenue and people. That’s common sense

I’m not getting over this until Tech either wins a National Championship (lol) or Stansbury is gone. I’m certainly not donating anymore money to the AT Fund just for Todd to take away one of the best things about college athletics, which is actually playing games at your college.

At least get the man a written script the next time he tries to sell this garbage plan and gives away our home dates to ND and Clem. MBS isn’t home. pic.twitter.com/PC8R5DZg6h
I hope we’re making a boatload of cash off of this, because effectively losing our next two home games with ND is a bummer. 2006 was an incredible atmosphere at Bobby Dodd. Maybe we’ll get to experience that again in 2032...

We have the oldest and winningest FBS stadium in the country. Very disappointed by the GTAA today.

Great idea @GTToddStansbury! Atlanta is our city, lets act like it. Anyone who thinks this is a bad move doesn't get marketing at all.
