Ron Hunter joining NCAA tourney studio crew

Georgia State coach Ron Hunter will be a studio analyst for NCAA tournament games on Thursday and Friday.

Hunter will join Ernie Johnson, Steve Smith and Seth Davis from the Turner studios in Atlanta to discuss games at 6 p.m. Thursday. He will join them again at 6 p.m. Friday.

Games will air on TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV.

Hunter’s Panthers were beaten by Xavier in the third round of the NCAA tournament last week. The Panthers defeated Baylor on a 30-foot 3-pointer by R.J. Hunter in the touranment’s second round. Ron Hunter fell off the chair he was coaching from after that shot, turning him into a national sensation.
