Penn State signs 2 Georgia kickers
Penn State coach James Franklin, who has caught some grief for his appearances in previous summers at Georgia State camps, did dip into Georgia for two players on signing day.
Both are kickers.
Alex Barbir of South Forsyth and Cumming is a 5-9, 195-pounder who specializes as a kicker.
He’ll be joined by Blake Gillikin of Smyrna, who played for Gerry Romberg at the Westminster Schools. Gillikin is both a kicker and punter at 6-2, 182.
