Peachtree Ridge star Nigel Warrior, the son of former NFL All-Pro defensive back Dale Carter, who played in college at Tennessee, held out till signing day. He chose Tennessee after all, after looking at Alabama, Auburn and Georgia.

1. A national view: He committed at the College Football Hall of Fame on Wednesday morning on ESPN.

2. Guessing game: The son of Carter, a former Tennessee Volunteers star and NFL All-Pro defensive back, Warrior was highly coveted and kept people guessing down to the wire. Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee were in the mix, among others, heading into signing day.

3. Elite athlete: The 6-foot, 186-pound safety is an elite athlete. He celebrated a win over North Gwinnett this season with an onfield back-flip from a standing position.
