What to watch

* This is the ACC opener for both teams and pits two of the league's best frontcourts against each other.

* The last time these teams met, the Seminoles needed a layup with 7.7 seconds from Derwin Kitchen to prevent Tech from a first-round upset in the first round of last year's ACC tournament.

* After losing last year's leading scorer in Toney Douglas (21.5 ppg), Florida State is getting more scoring from the inside.

* Zachery Peacock returns for Tech after missing Wednesday's game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff with a bruised knee.
