ATHENS -- Chris Wilson, hired this week as Georgia's new defensive line coach, received a one-year contract and will be paid $250,000.

Details of Wilson's employment were released Friday by UGA in response to an open records request. Wilson's contract is set to start on July 1 and runs through June 30 of 2014. However, since Wilson's employment began on Thursday, he will be paid the same base salary on a monthly basis until then. Wilson will also receive a dealer car, insurance and has a yearly equipment and apparel allowance from Nike.

Wilson made $308,000 a year as co-defensive coordinator at Mississippi State, the job he just left.
