Three-star defensive end Robert Porcher IV is considering visiting Georgia Tech, according to Scout Recruiting's Corey Bender.
Porcher, a Nebraska commit, spent Saturday on an official visit to Michigan and is considering adding a trip to California, Tech and potentially another school of interest, according to Bender.
Among offers by Tech, Nebraska and California, Porcher, a senior from Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Fla., has offers from 31 other schools including Michigan, Arizona, Indiana, N.C. State, Southern California and Florida State, according to 247 Sports.
Porcher is planning on continuing the legacy of his father, Robert Porcher III, on the football field next year. Porcher III played college football at South Carolina State and then was drafted in 1992 in the first round by the Detroit Lions who he played for until 2004. In July, Porcher IV posted a picture of his father in a Lions' jersey on Twitter writing, "My dad in his prime. He started the Porcher legacy that I strive to continue."
The 6-foot-3, 245 pound Porcher received an offer from the Yellow Jackets in July. Porcher announced his offer on Twitter writing, "Blessed to receive an offer from Georgia Tech."
