What to know: According to Franklin Stephens, his coach at Ware County High, Mills chose Georgia Tech because Tech offers him a chance to compete on a high level, provides a great education and was close to home.
Stephens on Mills' personality: "He doesn't like to lose, so he's willing to go above and beyond to ensure that he's the best."
Stephens on Mills on a personal level: "He's a kid with a great attitude who works well with others. I think he understands that Georgia Tech is giving him a great opportunity, and he wants to take advantage of it."
Stephens on Mills' decision process: "I don't think it was a thing where he narrowed (a list) down. He just kind of thought 'I want to go to Georgia Tech'. It wasn't one of those things where some kid gets down to three schools or two schools or something along those lines. I think he had some parameters, and Georgia Tech fit those parameters and he decided to go with them."
Stephens on what Mills will bring to Tech's program: "I think he's going to bring a kid that's very competitive and very internally driven who wants to be successful."
