Eleven Georgia players played for the first time in their careers on Saturday.

True freshmen Shaq Jones, Malkom Parrish and Shakenneth Williams joined A.J. McDonald, Shaun McGee, Brice Ramsey, Tramel Terry, Reggie Wilkerson, Tristan Askew, Jordan Davis and Davin Bellamy in making their debut against Troy.

Some other firsts: Freshman tailback Sony Michel scored the first rushing touchdown of his career and ended up with three; freshman tight end Jeb Blazevich got his first career start; and sophomore strong safety Quincy Mauger and senior defensive end Ray Drew each got their first starts of the 2014 season.
