MORGAN BURNETT played QB at North Clayton High but has dazzled Tech fans in his role as a safety for the Jackets.

JOSH NESBITT, Tech's starting QB in 2009, was an AJC 2006 Super 11 selection out of Greene Co. High.

GREG REID was Florida State's big recruit out of 2008 Class AAAAA state champion Lowndes. The true freshman has already posted 2 INTs as well as 11 kick returns for an average of 24.6 yards in 5 games.

JAYBO SHAW (left, with father/coach Lee) quarterbacked for Flowery Branch before taking the same role at Tech.

JONATHAN DWYER came highly recruited from Kell High and hasn't disappointed at Tech. A starter since 2007, he's posted 2,240 career yards for the Jackets.

STEPHEN HILL was a three-sport star at Miller Grove but is turning heads at Tech as a freshman wide receiver.

JUSTIN MINCEY was an AJC Super 11 in 2004 at Charlton Co. High. At Florida State, he's played DT since 2006.

RODDY JONES was the AJC's 2006 DeKalb Offensive Player of the Year at Chamblee High. As a kick returner in 2008 for Tech, he averaged 23.6 yards over 13 games.

COOPER TAYLOR spent his prep career at Marist as a QB. At Tech he plays safety and menaces quarterbacks with his ability to make INTs.

OMOREGGIE UZZI, an AJC Super 11 in 2007 out of Chamblee, is a sophomore guard for the Jackets.
