Former Georgia Tech defensive end KeShun Freeman will get his shot at the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens.

Freeman, a four-year starter for the Yellow Jackets, has received a tryout with the Ravens at their rookie mini-camp this coming weekend.

Freeman will be a non-rostered player at the mini-camp and would have to outperform rostered players to then be signed to the 90-man offseason roster as an undrafted free agent. It’s a tall order, but it’s still an opportunity. Further, Freeman will be learning a new position.

The Ravens play in a 3-4 scheme, and Freeman confirmed in an e-mail that they want to try him at outside linebacker.
