Kennesaw State has added a transfer from Central Florida to boost its running backs.

Micah Reed, from Crestview, Fla., will come in as a B-back. He is 6-foot, 214 pounds and fills a need at that Owls coach Brian Bohannon discussed back on February’s Signing Day.

Reed started two games for the Knights last year, rushing 59 times for 223 yards. He also had five catches for 46 yards.

He has two years of eligibility remaining.

The Owls will open the season at East Tennessee State on Sept. 3.
