WR Kalani Norris is Georgia Tech’s 16th commit

Georgia Tech received the 16th commitment for its 2019 signing class Tuesday, from wide receiver Kalani Norris from Miami, Fla. Norris, listed at 6-foot-0 and 175 pounds, is a three-star prospect (247 Sport composite).

Norris, a senior at Columbus High, reported other offers from South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, N.C. State and Pitt, among others. Norris announced his commitment on his Twitter account Tuesday evening. He's the second wide receiver to commit to Tech for 2019.

He is rated the No. 654 player in his class and the No. 87 wide receiver.

With 16 players committed, Tech coaches are getting close to a full class. The Jackets will lose 17 scholarship seniors after this season and are at their 85-scholarship limit. That count does not include former walk-on Bailey Ivemeyer, who was put on scholarship in August and is on track to graduate after the spring semester.
