Jordan Griffin, a defensive back from Jonesboro, committed to Kentucky, flirted with Auburn, but chose to stay with the Wildcats.

Three things to know about Griffin:

1. About that Auburn trip: Griffin made Kentucky fans nervous with a late January visit to Auburn, but took to Twitter the Monday after his weekend trip to reconfirm his commitment to the Wildcats. "It truly is a blessing to be at this point of my life," Griffin wrote. "It has been a crazy experience, but I am committed to the University of Kentucky."

2. Two-way player: The Wildcats are happy to have him. As a receiver, Griffin caught 68 passes for 1,008 yards and 10 touchdowns during his senior season. He also picked off three passes as a defensive back, his likely position at the next level.

3. Willing to work: Jordan is "an extremely hard worker, very mature and always striving to be the best," Jonesboro coach DeTimothy Floyd said.
