Herschel Walker wins MMA debut

Herschel Walker, who made his mixed-martial arts debut on Saturday night, enters the ring.

Walker, 47, defeated Hungarian fighter Greg Nagy, 26.

MMA is the third sport Walker has competed in. In addition to his star football career, he was made the U.S. Olympic bobsled team in 1992.

Walker drove Nagy into the fence early in the third round. After a flurry of punches, referee Troy Waugh called the fight.

Walker holds a fifth-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

"The experience was exciting," Walker said. "This is the hardest thing I've ever done."
