Greensboro, N.C., shooting guard receives 2018 offer from Tech

Three-star shooting guard John Newman III received an offer from Georgia Tech on Sunday.
A 6-foot-5, 180 pound junior at Greensboro Day School, Newman announced the offer on Twitter writing, "Blessed to receive an offer from Georgia Tech."
Newman, from Greensboro, NC, is ranked No. 10 on 247 Sports’ list of top 2018 recruits in North Carolina and has offers from Boston College, Charlotte and Old Dominion.
