According to the team’s injury report, Georgia Tech will have the full complement of its two-deep depth chart available for Thursday night’s game against No. 5 Clemson.
The only two players on the Yellow Jackets’ injury report are walk-on A-back Austin McClellan and freshman defensive end Jordan Woods, both listed as out with upper-body injuries. Woods suffered his injury in the preseason and required season-ending surgery. McClellan played in the first three games of the season.
Not on the report and cleared to play – offensive tackles Trey Klock and Jake Stickler, both of whom missed the Vanderbilt game, Klock with an ankle injury. Sticker’s injury is undisclosed. Cornerback Step Durham also missed time in the Vanderbilt game with an apparent leg injury.
Having Durham in the lineup is a boost, as the Jackets’ secondary figures to get tested by Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson and the Tigers’ talented array of receivers. Durham’s backup on the depth chart is Lamont Simmons, a transfer from USC who had missed the past two seasons as a redshirt and then as a transfer.
Durham was named the team’s defensive player of the week after the season-opening win over Boston College and has started the first three games of the season.
Klock started the first two games of the season at right tackle before missing the Vanderbilt game. Andrew Marshall replaced him at right tackle after subbing for Eason Fromayan the previous week at left tackle.
