Georgia Tech will be making its fourth ACC Championship Game appearance since 2006, and its second against Florida State. The 21-13 victory in 2012, coincidentally, was the first in the Seminoles' 28-game win streak - an ACC record. Since that time, Florida State has won 23 consecutive ACC games, their last conference loss coming to North Carolina State in 2012.

Georgia Tech quarterback Justin Thomas needs 139 yards to become the second Jackets quarterback to rush for 1,000 yards in a season.

Seminoles redshirt sophomore Jameis Winston is the first quarterback to win his first 25 starts, since Oklahoma's Jimmy Harris from 1954 to 1956. Winston has four game-winning fourth quarter drives this season - best in the nation - and five in his career.

Georgia Tech has played 223 consecutive games without being shut out – the second-longest active streak in the ACC. The last time the Jackets were shut out? Oct. 18, 1997 – a 38-0 loss at No. 3 Florida State.

The Jackets - who average 333.8 rushing yards per game - are 37-9 when rushing for 300 or more yards. Senior B-Back Zach Laskey (37) needs just 70 yards to become the 14th 2,000-yard rusher in program history.

Florida State are tied for seventh nationally in red zone offense, scoring on 91.8 percent of chances. The Seminoles' offense, however, trails Tech in scoring (34.6 points per game vs. 37.2) and total offense (430.3 vs. 469.1).

Florida State's senior wide receiver Rashad Greene (from Albany, Ga.) needs 101 yards to break the ACC career mark of 3,749 yards - held by former Duke standout Conner Vernon. With 106 yards against Boston College, Greene (3,648) became Florida State’s all-time leader in career receiving yards passing Peter Warrick for the school record.

Georgia Tech ranks third with the largest scoring margin (132-67; 65 points plus) in the fourth quarter of all 126 FBS schools. Of note, Paul Johnson's Jackets squads are 44-6, when leading at halftime.

Florida State's senior tailback Karlos Williams (right) is the fourh Seminole to post multiple seasons with 10 o more rushing touchdowns. Williams, who suffered a concussion against Florida, will likely miss the ACC title game. Trailing in the depth chart is freshman running back Dalvin Cook, who has 124 carries for 728 yards and 7 touchdowns this season.

Georgia Tech defensive back D.J. White has an interception in three straight games - including one that secured the overtime win over Georgia. The Jackets are tied for second nationally with six defensive touchdowns this year, returning five interceptions and one fumble for scores.

Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson ranks ninth on list of winningest active FBS head coaches with 164 wins. He is just the second coach to have multiple 10-win seasons with the Jackets.

Florida State has averaged 37.9 points per game since Jimbo Fisher (center) became head coach in 2010. Fisher's teams are 11-5 against Top 25 ranked opponents. His .850 winning percentage (57-10) at Florida State is only second among active coaches.
