Georgia Tech will play its Sept. 29 game against Bowling Green at Bobby Dodd Stadium at noon. The game will be televised on regional sports networks, including Fox Sports South in Atlanta.

It continues a long string of early kickoffs for Tech home games, a trend that has aggravated Yellow Jackets fans for whom the noon starts hamper tailgating. Since the start of the 2016 season, Tech has played 12 Saturday home games. Of the 12, 10 of the games started at either noon or 12:30 p.m. Of the other two, one was a 7:30 p.m. start (Wake Forest in 2017) and the other was a 3 p.m. start (Mercer in 2016, a game whose kickoff time was under Tech’s control).

Tech will play No. 2 Clemson at 3:30 p.m. Saturday (WSB-TV Channel 2 Action News in Atlanta) at Bobby Dodd.
