Georgia Tech's 2013 football schedule

A look at the schedule coach Paul Johnson and the Yellow Jackets will face during the 2013 season.

The Phoenix of the Southern Conference will provide the opposition in the season opener.

Jackets defeated Duke in Atlanta last season. This year, the game will be played in Durham, N.C.

The Jackets allowed a season-high 50 points to the Tar Heels last season - and still won by 18 points.

Following the Carolina game, the Jackets will turn around and host Logan Thomas and the Virginia Tech Hokies in a Thursday prime-time matchup.

Could be an early-season pivotal game in the division when the Jackets travel south to play the Hurricanes.

Jackets look for a measure of revenge against the Cougars, who defeated the Jackets 41-17 on Tech's homecoming last season.

Scott Shafer and the Orangemen will make their first visit to Bobby Dodd Stadium in mid-October.

Vad Lee's 41-yard TD in the fourth quarter of last year's game provided the final score in the Jackets' 56-20 victory.

The first conference game against Paul Chryst and the Pitt Panthers will be played at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

The Jackets will travel to Clemson, S.C. to face the Tigers in their second Thursday game of the season.

The Bulldogs of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) will provide the opposition in the second of two games against FCS competition.

Jackets hope to bounce back from last season's 42-10 loss in Athens.
