Georgia State’s final Spring football practice will be held at Panthersville on April 12.

It is one of three practices that will be held at locations other than the complex on MLK.

A practice will be held at McEachern High School from 3-4:30 p.m. on March 29. The second will be held at Lanier High School from 3-4:30 p.m. on April 5.

Admission and parking are free.

Coach Trent Miles said the practices are being held at the high schools to improve recruiting. He said he likes the idea of practicing at Panthersville because it will allow families to come out and watch all of Gerogia State’s sports teams, rather than having to choose which ones to support.

The final practice at Panthersville will be held from 12:15 p.m.-2 p.m. at the football stadium next to the baseball complex.

It will be part of day of events at Panthersville that includes a baseball game at 2 p.m. against Texas-Arlington, a softball doubleheader at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. against Texas State and men’s soccer scrimmages at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. and Erskine and Shorter.

There will be a festival before the games at 11:30 a.m.
