The Georgia State men’s basketball season will play games that will take them from Cancun, Mexico to Myrtle Beach, S.C., according to the complete schedule released by the school’s athletic department on Friday. The team released the conference portion of the schedule earlier this year.

The Panthers, led by coach Ron Hunter, went 16-14 overall, 9-11 in the Sun Belt last season.

The team returns Jeremy Hollowell, Isaiah Williams, Jordan Session, Malik Benlevi, Austin Donaldson and Isaiah Dennis, and welcomes transfers Willie Clayton (Charlotte), Devin Mitchell (Alabama) and freshmen D'Marcus Simonds and Chris Clerkley. Hunter also welcomes new assistants Sharman White and Ray McCallum.

The Panthers will play three teams that appeared in the NCAA tournament last season, Arkansas-Little Rock, Purdue and Middle Tennessee State. The Trojans defeated the Boilermakers in the second round of the NCAA tournament. Middle Tennessee upset Michigan State.

They will return home to host Wright State on Nov. 30 before going on the road against to play at Mississippi State.

The Panthers will host Massachusetts on Dec. 28 in the final non-conference game before Sun Belt play begins at Georgia Southern on Dec. 31.

The regular season will end with the Panthers hosting Georgia Southern on March 4.
