Georgia State football will travel to Ole Miss for a game in the 2026 season, GSU announced Wednesday.

The game is scheduled for Nov. 21 that year, the Saturday before Thanksgiving, and is part of a weekend that also features the Panthers’ basketball team playing the Rebels on Nov. 20.

The game against Ole Miss adds another Power 5 school to Georgia State's resume. The Panthers have played 11 such opponents in their 10 seasons of football, losing against the first 10 games before their big upset of Tennessee in their season opener last year.

Georgia State has Alabama on its 2020 schedule (Sept. 12 in Tuscaloosa), should the season go off as scheduled amid the coronavirus pandemic.
