Georgia State fires men’s tennis coaches

Georgia State men’s tennis coach Joerg Barthel and assistant coach Cesar Vargas were fired on Monday, according to the athletics department.
The university announced that during an internal review numerous minor NCAA violations were uncovered.
Women’s tennis coach Robin Stephenson will also take over the men’s team on an interim basis.
