Georgia tailback Nick Chubb suffered a left-thumb injury in practice this week and was wearing a protective cast for Saturday’s game.

The freshman from Cedartown is a backup but was Georgia’s second-leading rusher in the opener against Clemson. He 70 yards on four carries and scored on a 47-yard run.
