Dominick Blaylock suffered an ACL tear of his left knee and will miss Georgia’s bowl game, a personal familiar with the situation told DawgNation.

Blaylock, Georgia’s third-leading scorer as a freshman this season, was injured in the SEC Championship game against LSU Saturday. He fell after catching a third-and-nine pass in the first half.

Blaylock finished his freshman year with 18 catches for 310 yards and five touchdowns. He led all Georgia receivers with at least three catches by averaging 17.2 yards per reception. The former Walton High star came up with big touchdown catches against Auburn, Florida and Georgia Tech.

The expectation with this injury is that he will be fully recovered for camp rolls in July.
