Georgia vs. Arizona State

Georgia Bulldogs travel to Tempe, Ariz., to meet Arizona State Sun Devils on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008.

Stafford is mobbed by a slew of Arizona State defenders. The Georgia junior had close to 200 yards passing by halftime with one touchdown.

Arizona State cornerback Pierre Singfield breaks up pass intended for wide receiver Green. The Georgia freshman had eight catches for 159 yards and one run for 5 yards.

Stafford completed 16-of-28 passes. The Georgia junior has not thrown an interception this year.

Moreno rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns, while Stafford threw for 285 yards and one score.

Moreno had 30 carries on the day, averaging 6-1/2 yards per attempt. His longest run was for 30 yards.

Georgia defensive tackle Corvey Irvin fights off a double team as he pressures quarterback Rudy Carpenter. Carpenter was sacked four times by the Georgia defense. The Sun Devil quarterback finished 23-of-36 for 208 yards and a touchdown.
