Georgia will play at night for the third time this season when the No. 3 Bulldogs travel to Tennessee on Oct. 5.

ESPN has raised its hand to televise the game in its 7 p.m. slot. CBS chose Auburn at Florida for its 3:30 p.m. game.

The Bulldogs (4-0, 1-0 SEC) are coming off a 23-17 win over No. 7 Notre Dame that kicked off at 8 p.m. this past Saturday and drew the highest viewing rating (6.2) of any college football game this year.

Tennessee (1-3, 0-2) is struggling in its second season under former Georgia defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt. The Volunteers were blown out by Florida 34-3 this past Saturday in Gainesville.

Both Georgia and Tennessee are off this weekend.

Television for the other SEC games of Oct. 5 include: Utah State at LSU, noon, SEC Network; Troy at Missouri, 4 p.m., SEC Network; Vanderbilt at Ole Miss, 7:30 p.m., SEC Network
