Despite fumbling three times against Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech B-back KirVonte Benson scored his second touchdown Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium to ice the game in the fourth quarter.

Benson, who was the Yellow Jackets’ workhorse for most of the game, shook off a fumble on his previous carry to rush for a 47-yard touchdown with 5:37 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Benson hit the second level of the defense, bounced to the outside and got a block from A-back Qua Searcy inside the 20 to finish off the long run.

That run put Benson at 196 yards on 28 carries -- a average of 6.8 yards per carry.
