Shilo Sanders, the son of Pro Football Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders, committed to South Carolina Tuesday night.

Shilo, a 6-foot, 178-pound corner at Trinity Christian School outside of Dallas, fielded offers from Georgia, Tennessee, Nebraska and Colorado State.

Shilo is the oldest of the former Atlanta Falcons star. He currently ranks as the nation’s No. 152 cornerback in the 247Sports 2019 composite.

Sanders was a guest a Georgia's spring game in 2018.

"I was very appreciative, thankful and challenged," Shilo told DawgNation of Georgia's Class of 2019 offer last spring.

When asked about following in his father’s footsteps, Shilo responded: “I think it is a blessing, a burden and a great resource. I understand that because of my last name people and players will always come at me 100 percent. So I always have to be mentally and physically prepared to dominate.

“My Dad helps out a lot with that. He tells me what to expect and how to deal with it because he’d done it before. The great thing is that I got the cornerback genes passed down to me.”
