Georgia Tech commits Nazir Burnett and Cornelius Evans have signed their letters of intent to cement their place in Tech’s 2019 signing class. Burnett, a wide receiver from Harrisburg, Pa., and Evans, a linebacker from Central Gwinnett High, were recruited to Tech only after coach Geoff Collins’ hire and committed to Tech in January.

Burnett had previously been committed to Syracuse before withdrawing his commitment in the fall. He chose Tech over Rutgers, UCLA and Cincinnati. Evans selected Tech over Louisville and Colorado State, among others.

Tech is awaiting the decision of Michael Lockhart, a defensive end from Birmingham, Ala., who is choosing between Tech, North Carolina and Mississippi State.
