Coming off its best season in years, Georgia football looks poised to repeat the successes of 2017 and earn another shot at the national title.

Though the Bulldogs lost some key players to the NFL Draft, college football analyst Phil Steele — now at ESPN —believes the SEC Champions will go undefeated in the 2018 regular season.

While appearing on Atlanta radio earlier this week, Steele pointed to Georgia being favored in every regular season game as an indication the Bulldogs would come out on top of the SEC East — again. He also praised the depth and explosiveness of the offensive line compared to previous seasons.

Steele — who has produced his “Phil Steele College Football Preview” for nearly a quarter century — ranked Georgia in the top five in many categories, including his preseason Top 60.

The Bulldogs will open the 2018 season at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 1 against Austin Peay.
