Jaylen Jackson, a defensive back from Brunswick High, committed to Georgia Tech on Sunday. He had previously been committed to Cincinnati.

He became the 18th member of the Tech recruiting class and is expected to sign when the early signing period begins on Wednesday.

Jackson, listed at 6-foot-0 and 193 pounds, is a three-star prospect (247 Sports composite) and also held a reported offer from Wake Forest.

He is part of a recruiting class rich in defensive backs as Tech seeks to replenish a roster that loses cornerbacks Lance and Lawrence Austin and Step Durham and safeties Corey Griffin and Shaun Kagawa and will lose A.J. Gray, Jalen Johnson and Lamont Simmons after next season.
