Bo Sikes, the grandson of Augusta National Golf Club chairman Billy Payne, signed a letter of intent to join Georgia's golf team.

Sikes is a senior at the Marist School in Atlanta where he will start on the golf team for a third time next spring. He averaged 77.5 last year, including a 71 finish at The Invite in Gainesville.

Also signing on to join the Bulldogs is Davis Thompson, the son of former Bulldogs golf captain Todd Thompson.

“With their family backgrounds, they know the history and the tradition of Georgia, and I can tell they’re excited about being Bulldogs,” said Georgia coach Chris Haack.
