Georgia Tech defensive end Anree Saint-Amour and quarterback Tobias Oliver were duly recognized for their roles in the Yellow Jackets’ 38-28 win over North Carolina Saturday in Chapel Hill, N.C.

Saint-Amour was named the ACC’s defensive lineman of the week and Oliver was named the conference’s rookie of the week for the second week in a row. Saint-Amour set career highs with nine tackles and three quarterback hurries. He also intercepted quarterback Nathan Elliott late in the fourth quarter to help seal the game for the Jackets.

Oliver, coming in for starter TaQuon Marshall late in the first quarter, ran for 120 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries and also completed both of his pass attempts for 104 yards, including an 86-yard scoring pass to A-back Qua Searcy that was the team’s longest since 2009.

The Jackets play at home against Miami this Saturday.
