Georgia Tech guard Parker Braun was a deserving honoree for ACC offensive lineman of the week. Braun blocked 22 defenders to the ground in 74 snaps, helping the Yellow Jackets rush for 436 yards in their 35-17 win over Pittsburgh at Bobby Dodd Stadium Saturday.

Braun made a particularly notable play in the first quarter, pulling from his spot at left guard and running to the perimeter on the right side to deliver a cut block on defensive end Dewayne Hendrix that put him on the ground, clearing the way for quarterback TaQuon Marshall to score on a 32-yard run for Tech’s first points of the game.

It is Braun’s second ACC player of the week award in his career. He earned the honor after the Virginia Tech game last season.
