Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield took part in a morning workout Wednesday but was ill and did not accompany the team to Disneyland's California Adventure Park in Anaheim later in the day.

Mayfield and the Sooners play Georgia in the Rose Bowl, a College Football Playoff semifinal, on Monday.

Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley said of the Heisman winner: “Trying to let him rest a little bit.

"He'll be ready to play," Riley assured.
