Saturday marks senior and military appreciation day at Sanford Stadium. The Bulldogs host the SEC East’s second-best team, the Kentucky Wildcats, for a 3:40 kickoff.

It’s the final home game for several notable seniors, including Nick Chubb, Sony Michel and Lorenzo Carter.

Coach Kirby Smart asked fans to come out and support their players in the last home game of what’s been UGA’s best season since at least 2005.

“We’re excited about honoring the military and all they do for us, serving our country,” Smart said. “Certainly makes it a great place to live, so we’re happy to honor them. Our seniors, we have senior day and it’s the last home game for them, a group of guys who’ve been very special to me and certainly special to dawg nation in the legacy they leave behind. A lot of them had opportunities to come out (for the NFL draft) and this’ll be their last chance. Really want to challenge our fan base to come out and support these guys to end it right at home.”
