Georgia surprises South Carolina with an opening onside kick

Georgia tried to take advantage of a lively crowd; its first time playing since being ranked No. 1 in the College Football Playoff rankings.

UGA started the game against South Carolina with a surprise onside kick. The attempt failed, but no damage was done. The Gamecocks missed a field goal and Georgia is marching the ball down the field.
