Bulldogs give Richt win over Jackets

Sony Michel rushed for 149 yards and a touchdown, helping Georgia to a 13-7 victory over Georgia Tech Saturday.

Georgia is 9-3 and put coach Mark Richt in position for the 10th double-digit-win season of his 15-year tenure with a bowl victory. But Richt's job may be in jeopardy due to losses to Alabama, Tennessee and Florida.

The Yellow Jackets are 3-9 a year after winning the Orange Bowl last season. Tech lost nine of its last 10 games to finish with its worst record since going 1-10 in 1994.
