B-back David Sims

Typically, when Sims gets the ball in the Tech offense, there isn’t much opportunity for him to pick holes and follow blocks. He follows a predetermined track into the line. His favorite play, though, gives him some flexibility.

His favorite play is “any type of trap play where I get the ball. I love those where I’ve got a pulling guard in front of me. I’m able to set up the defender, play off my guard. I love those. … It’s just something I’ve always been naturally good at. I’m able to stay patient and, as soon as my guard (makes the block), I hit my burst and I’m probably going to get good yards.”
