Bulldogs advance in NIT

Yante Maten scored a career-high 33 points as Georgia beat Belmont 93-84 in the first round of the NIT on Wednesday night in Athens.

Charles Mann added 23 for the Bulldogs (20-13).

Georgia will play at Saint Mary's on Sunday.

Belmont ends the season with a 20-12 record.
