A potential trade that would send Suns center Shaquille O'Neal to the Cleveland Cavaliers has reportedly regained steam.

The deal, reported by The Arizona Republic, was originally discussed in February and had Phoenix sending O'Neal to Cleveland in exchange for forward Ben Wallace and reserve guard Sasha Pavlovic.

The addition of O'Neal would give the Cavs a definite boost in LeBron James' title quest.

The Cavs had the best record in the NBA during the regular season, but were bounced in the Eastern Conference Finals by the Orlando Magic in six games. The Magic face the Los Angeles Lakers in game 5 of the NBA Finals on Sunday. The Lakers hold a 3-1 advantage.

O'Neal has won four NBA Championships — three with the Lakers and one with the Miami Heat.

The 7-foot-1, 325 pound center, who won NBA MVP in 2000, played 75 games this season averaging 17.8 points and 8.4 boards, and was an All-NBA third-team selection.
