Baseball Hall of Famer and Braves icon Chipper Jones will serve as an honorary race official at the Daytona 500, Fox announced Wednesday on Twitter.

His race-day duties will include and introduction at the drivers' meeting, a lap around the speedway in a parade car and a question-and-answer session with fans.

The announcement comes a day after the Daytona International Speedway announced Peyton Manning will drive the honorary pace car.
